In a submission to the Law Council of Australia (LCA), the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) has provided comment to the Senate Community Affairs References Committee’s inquiry into the My Health Record system (‘MyHR’).
The LIV's submission responds to the terms of reference, including privacy and security concerns, the decision to shift from opt-in to opt-out and how the My Health Record system compares to other international alternatives.
