The Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) in a submission to the Law Council of Australia (LCA) has made comments on the Senate Community Affairs References Committee’s inquiry into the My Health Records Amendment (Strengthening Privacy) Bill 2018 .
The LIV's submission supports the bill's two major amendments. However, it notes some additional privacy concerns with the current arrangement of 'My Health Records' that should be taken into consideration.
