The LIV, informed by the Technology and Innovation Section, has expressed its concerns with the ACCC's Draft News Media Bargaining Code. Recognising the important purpose that the Code seeks to address, the LIV has provided 10 recommendations to ensure that the Code promotes healthy competition, avoids entrenching large media companies and operates to the benefit of Australian consumers.
