The Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) has made a submission to the Senate Standing Committtees on Environment and Communications inquiry into the waste and recycling industry in Australia.

The LIV notes that issues such as those relating to landfill, markets for recycled waste and the management of solid waste are of significant importance to the Australian community. The submission focuses on the importance of facilitating a national approach to the waste and recycling industry.
