LIV Comments on best practice guide for preventing elder abuse in the banking sector 

The LIV supports the LCA engaging more directly with the banking industry on matters concerning deceased estates and powers of attorney, and has highlighted some concerns in its submission. These concerns relate to the Banking Code, the national power of attorney register, and the need to provide clear and accessible information about dealing with deceased estates.
