LIV responds to discussion paper on sexual harassment in the legal profession

The LIV has responded to the Law Council of Australia's discussion paper addressing sexual harassment in the legal profession

The LIV provided responses to six discussion questions, advocating for greater oversight by regulatory bodies and targeted training surrounding sexual harassment.

Supporting the Victorian Legal Services Commissioner's position on sexual harassment, the LIV's memo promotes the state-wide survey into the nature of sexual harassment, establishing a Sexual Harassment Working Group and supporting legal practitioners will tools and resources.
