LIV seeks consultation on Mental Health Royal Commission reforms

The LIV has written a letter to the Minister for Health seeking clarification on the consultation process for implementing the Mental Health Royal Commission recommendations.

In a letter to the Minister for Health Martin Foley MP, the LIV has requested further information about the timeline for implementing the recommendations of the royal commission.

While the LIV commends the Victorian Government's commitment to implementing the entire body of recommendations, it  acknowledges that rebuilding the state's mental health system will require a great deal of consultation with stakeholders.

To that end the LIV expressed a desire to meet with the Minister or a representative to discuss the questions raised.
