LIV makes recommendations on land tax relief during COVID-19 crisis

By State Taxes Committee

The LIV's State Taxes Committee has contributed to a submission making proposals and recomendations towards Victoria's land tax rates.

Further to a previous letter to the Attorney-General dated 26 March 2020 in which the LIV recommends the Government consider providing land tax relief to Victorians for the duration of the COVID-19 crisis, the LIV sets out in further detail how such relief may be applied and the rationale for providing such relief.
