Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) has developed a free e-learning module on the links between crime, child protection, family law and family violence.

There is increasing crossover between family violence matters and criminal law, family law and child protection issues. In order to provide the best service to clients it is imperative that lawyers have a foundational understanding of these areas of law and how they intersect with each other. VLA has developed an e-learning module Intersections: the links between crime, child protection, family law and family violence to support lawyers to build this understanding.

Completion of all three streams (criminal law, family law and child protection) will attract 3 CPD points in Substantive Law.

You can access the e-learning module for free here.
