More than 1100 expert lawyers in Victoria make their mark on the legal profession as LIV Accredited Specialists.
In accordance with the Specialisation Scheme Rules, Accredited Specialists are required to maintain records of their CPD activities and report to the Specialisation Board. The requirements for this period are 12 CPD points in total, with eight of those 12 points in your area of specialty. Accredited Specialists are also required to comply with the Legal Profession Uniform Continuing Professional Development (Solicitors) Rules 2015.
Specialists accredited for more than three years do not have to submit a CPD report unless directed to do so by the Specialisation Board as part of its annual audit. You will not be called upon to submit a CPD report for the year 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020 for your Accredited Specialist CPD reporting requirements provided this form is completed and returned by Friday 1 May 2020.
