Annual General Meeting 2020

6pm, Wednesday 18 November 2020

The Annual General Meeting of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) will be held via webcast at 6pm on Wednesday 18 November 2020.

In response to Government Restrictions and the potential health risks arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, members will not be able to attend the meeting in person.

Proxy form

Members are encouraged to vote at the meeting by appointing the Chairperson as their proxy and submitting a completed proxy form which directs the way in which the Chairperson is to vote. The Proxy form is available to download at the link below.

Meet the candidates standing for Vice President

So that members can hear from each of the candidates standing for election as Vice President before voting on item 5 in the Notice of Annual General Meeting, LIV will hold a webinar at which the three candidates will speak to their candidacy. The webinar will be held at 10am on Monday 16 November 2020.

Under the LIV constitution, only full members whose subscription is not in arrears and who is present in person or by proxy at the meeting will be entitled to vote at the meeting. 

Associate members are entitled to participate in the AGM but are not entitled to vote.
