The LIV provides a range of directories to assist LIV members and the public to find a lawyer or other professionals to assist with their legal needs. Directories include, Accredited Specialists, Victorian Legal Practices, Collaborative Professionals, Mediators and more.
Legal Referral Service
The LIV's phone and online Legal Referral Service provides free referrals to solicitors all over Victoria. All referrals are to LIV members who have agreed to see clients for up to the first 30 minutes free of charge. Normal fees will be charged after the first 30 minutes. Referrals are made according to practice area, geographic location, preferred language and other specific requirements.
Trust Accounting Online & Stationery
A simple solution to enhance effective practice management. The LIV Trust Accounting system is an online trust recording system designed for you to use anywhere, anytime.
Costing
The LIV's costing services include the costs advisory service and the legal costing service. The LIV provides costing information and an overview including cost agreements, interest on overdue accounts, statutory scales of costs, court fees and frequently asked questions.

The Legal Ethics Department aims to raise lawyers’ awareness of their professional responsibilities and assist them through any ethical dilemmas they face.
